The workshops start with a few notes of music, sometimes completed by a poem, a  monologue, or another brief artistic contribution.

Then the exchange begins with a discussion, the musician asking  the invited expert which parallels, differences, complementarities can be found between music and his or her field.

After about 15-20 minutes two young musicians perform a short duo, which is commented upon by the guest speaker. He or she suggests new approaches to help release tensions, raise the expressivity of the performance, etc.

The audience then asks questions or deliver remarks.

 

The whole activity lasts about an hour.
